Sauna Zone

We encourage you to use the sauna rituals in the Finnish sauna. During the screening, a qualified sauna master skillfully pours stones with water with the addition of natural essential oils, and spreads the warm air with towels, fans or other accessories. The revitalizing ceremony is accompanied by properly selected music.

Please do not enter the sauna during the seance. If you feel discomfort, you can leave the sauna during an ongoing ritual. To ensure the highest quality of service to other participants, please do not return to the same seance.

Rules for using saunas:

1. Use saunas without hurry  for 2-3 hours, at least once a week.

2. Before the sauna (about 2 hours) do not eat a substantial meal, do not overwork. Sauna is a time of relaxation and rest. Do not plan activity after saunaing.

3. Before using the sauna, make sure that there are no medical contraindications.

4. Dress up in the locker room, take off your jewelry, other decorations and watch. Ladies, please do a make-up removal.

5. Before entering the wellness area, thoroughly wash the whole body in the shower with water and soap, and then wipe them dry. The shower is obligatory, even if you have been bathing at home before leaving.

6. In communication routes, you can move in a swimsuit, towel, pareo or a bathrobe. The sauna area is a non-tex zone.

7. Perform 3-4 cycles consisting of 3 phases:

  • body heating (saunas: Finnish, biosauna, steam room)
  • body cooling (sensations shower, cooling pool, ice bowl)
  • rest (fireplace room, graduation towers).

8. In the sauna area, use a towel or pareo to wipe and cover the body and under the body in the Finnish sauna and biosauna.

9. You can walk in flip-flops or barefoot. Before entering the sauna, remove the flaps and leave them in such a place that they do not block the entrance.

10. Sauna area is a place of relaxation and a zone of silence. Please, keep silence.

11. During the bathing, it is necessary to refill the fluids - water is available free of charge and without restrictions.

The optimal order of saunas

Finnish sauna - heating

Before entering the Finnish sauna, wipe your body.

Go to the Finnish sauna in a towel, then we recommend to unwrap it so that the whole body is exposed to high temperature and humidity.

We do not enter the Finnish sauna in a bathing suit because it may cause burns.

For hygienic reasons, place a towel under each part of the body that is in contact with the wood, except for the sauna floor.

In the first cycle, select the lowest bench (approx. 80 ° C), gradually move upwards to avoid thermal shock. At the end sit or lie down on the highest bench (temperature around 100 ° C).

Control the time so that you do not stay in the sauna for more than 15 minutes.

If you were lying, slowly sit down before leaving the sauna, wait 1-2 minutes and then stand up slowly.

Cooling zone

After the seance in the Finnish sauna, rinse the body in the shower first with lukewarm, then cool water. Cooling start from the feet, gradually moving up the body, finally chill the neck and eventually the head. Do not pour warmed up head over the cold water. Immerse yourself in the internal cooling pool or use the Shower of sensations to cool your body again and again.

Graduation towers - rest

In towers, rest comfortably on a lounger in a sitting or semi-reclining position. Rest at least as much time as saunaing took.

Steam bath - heating 

Enter the steam room naked, put a towel on the hanger in front of the entrance. Rinse the seat and the floor with water from the hoses. Sit or lie on the tiles of the seat. Before going out, rinse the seat and floor again in the place you used. The maximum time of a session in a steam bath is 20 minutes.

Cooling zone

Fireplace room - rest

In the room, use a comfortable deckchair and a cozy mood to indulge in a moment of relaxation and remember to drink water. Rest at least as much time as heating took.

Biosauna with aromatherapy - heating

Before entering the biosauna, wipe the body dry. Go to the biosauna in a towel, then we recommend to unwrap it so that the whole body is exposed to high temperature and humidity. We do not enter the biosauna in a bathing suit because it may cause burns. Put a towel under each part of the body in contact with the wood (except the floor). In the first cycle, select the lowest bench; finish, sitting down or lying down on the highest. Control the time so that you do not stay in the sauna for more than 15-20 minutes. If you were lying down, sit for a moment before leaving the sauna.
